The Nandia, which is of interest all year round |
I am amazed at the amount of stuff flowering or at least still alive in December. It's gorgeous in some ways but very worrying in others. It's really great to see the tree fern with all its leaves still intact but I wonder what will happen to the snowdrops if they don't get any frost. I have the red berries of the Nandina, which also changes its leaf colour and is interesting all year round.

The tree fern, looking really fresh and good for winter |
Out in the street I caught sight of this tree, flowering away as though it was spring. I don't know what it is, if anyone can let me know I'd be pleased. It goes with the flowering of the Viburnum farreri in the front bed which is aways very heartening this month.

Euroloo, really useful but I'm happy it's gone |
The work on the house is finished after five weeks. I am specially pleased because I've lost the outside loo which blocked all the ways out and made me climb up a steep step.
