| Foxes mating |
I have hardly seen the foxes during the winter. I thought they were put off by the new dogs in the area, barking. But since a few weeks ago, one fox has been on the shed roof sometimes for a whole day. I think she is probably pregnant since they were mating a week ago, two gardens down. So maybe we can expect a new breed soon.

| Fox on the shed |
A year ago one of the foxes became quite friendly. She used to choose to lie out in the garden while I was there really very close to me but always with something between us, like the pond or a shrub. However her daughter does not have the same feeling and always vanishes when I appear in the garden.
Things are waking up quite fast now. But of the many snowdrops I planted two years ago, only a few have survived. I think because I have very heavy clay soil, I may have planted them too deep.

There are masses of crocuses in the lawn which always look wonderful and make me think of spring.
