A little bit of snow is enough |
Although it is still cold, the garden is waking up. I have the winter flowering Viburnum tinus with pink flowers all winter. It supports any wild things that have woken up early in the year.

Also the winter honeysuckle which smells delicious and also provides food for wildlife.

The primroses have been alive and very pretty all through the winter.
But new things are now showing themselves, which is very heartening. The hellebores are just coming out, especially the white double one that is always the first. But others are showing too.
The Daphne odora that I created as a cutting about five years ago is in bud and will be out very soon.

The small-flowered Camellia transkoensis already has a couple of flowers and will go on flowering for ages.
