Colours and Snow in November

My sister's garden on Tuesday

My sister lives in the midlands and had a lot of snow recently which she sent me a photo of. I went to look at  my garden and I had a little snow on two pots  of flowers I had just (luckily) covered in foil. There may well be more later. I rather hope there is because some plants, like snowdrops need a really cold patch before they flower.

This year has been particularly good for autumn colours and the many new trees recently planted have given us a fascinating autumn. The trees in my garden turn yellow of various kinds, the ones in the local park go lots of reds and yellows, and there's one on the way down to the bus which has flowers already.

My garden caught a little late but still pretty

Bird feeders are becoming more popular as it gets colder. The sparrows like them, and so do the great tits. The squirrel goes  on trying, although I have chosen feeders they can't get into. There is a simpler feeder with peanuts in it for the squirrels but they don't seem that interested.
