Autumn Trees and Cuttings

Most autumn trees are bright yellow or orange, but there are one or two really red ones which shine out. In my street I have two of the red ones.  I don't  know what they are, but they are really wonderful for a week or so. There are also some lovely yellow ones.

I am trying to produce more of the evergreen cabbage that I use almost every day. It has got a bit old and much eaten by white butterflies. The leaves have also become a bit small. I expect it needs feeding.  I took one cutting and gave it to my son, so I'm trying again and have a mug of cuttings on the kitchen table.
