Plums Ripening Early

Lots of plums this year
My Victoria plums are nearly finished. That puts them about three weeks early this year. Usually they are got at by squirrels but this year there were no squirrels for some reason and I got a huge amount of plums which I picked when nearly ripe and kept on the dining room table where they ripened nicely. For some reason the grey squirrels haven't been coming into the garden recently so they didn't get the plums early - I got them all!

Delicious plums
Plums are really good for you, having a laxative effect and their antioxidants may reduce the risk of certain diseases including heart disease, cancer and diabetes. And, of course, they are completely delicious. Victoria plums can be eaten raw or cooked, and cooked ones can be kept in the freezer so used throughout the year.

I got a second small buddleja last week, with purplish blue rather than red flowers which has plenty of them although it is still tiny but is settling in well. They are so loved by bees and other insects and the smaller size lets me have two in the garden rather than just one.

I found a  small moth by the pond. It is pretty, whitish with two blotches on its wings. If anybody can tell me what it is I would be grateful.
